An arcaded ground for olive trees and white stucco.
Mesa is the only farmhouse in the studio's current portfolio. The brief was deliberately quiet: a single-storey programme on a vast plot, with thick whitewashed walls, terracotta tiled roofs, and arched loggias that turn the harsh midday into a soft, even light. The pool sits sunken inside the colonnade with integrated cushioned seating along its long edge — guests step down rather than around it, which keeps the surface flush with the courtyard floor and lets it read as a reflecting pool from inside the main pavilion.
